also the two people cited don't seem to exist, NOBODY else on the internet has picked up on this story (usually sites like this rip off a legit news source), and the entire site/YouTube channel seems to be AI slop, so I think this is all just straight SEO hallucination

BTW, if you're looking for information the the NC Rabbit Hole itself, here are some numbers: The first edition that went out on this date in 2020 was sent to 58 subscribers. Today's edition went out to 12,704! There haven't been any mass subscription events, it's just been a steady drip drip drip.
