What an elegant way to put it! The SJ “airport” (if you can call it that with about 2 flights a day… 🙄) just doesn’t have the same mystique.

Remember that time that #SaintJohn had a gorgeous train station with marble floors and then it was torn down in 1973 & now there’s no train station & no passenger rail but there’s still trains but only for industrial use? Yeah me too.

The contrast here is unbelievable.
While China unveils its 450 km/hr trains, here in Atlantic Canada, we’ve devolved to 50 km/hr speeds due to political negligence & underfunding.
