Last night, I had to fix a player’s pronunciation in an NBA highlight but I knew I had heard it the way I said it before.

As far as I can tell, UNC’s Luka Bogavac hasn’t played or attended college anywhere before being a Tar Heel.
He’s been a professional hooper since 2021.
I’m cool with all of that. Bravo!

At times I think we never pronounce the names of NBA stars correctly, but these guys often offer three or four acceptable pronunciations.
It’s really something to see.

I resisted the temptation to pitch introducing our new NBA editorial staff by recreating this, but I am incredibly proud of how far we’ve come in such a short time.
We’re going to pour everything we have into this project and it’s my hope and belief that NBA fans will love it.
