I wish I could do that. Even books I love take me about a week to read. But yes I've got quite a few books where I've broken off to read something else and they end up abandoned.

As someone who does struggle getting to sleep sometimes, it does work the deep breathing, relaxing the shoulders and try to relax the face too, it's surprising how much tension is held in the brow and forehead, consciously relax the face.

Good idea. I'm 5ft 7 though so struggle to get ones to fit right. Most are too short but one pair are huge and they're women's. The waist band almost under my armpits and the legs are like Sinbad pants. Not sure what height they had in mind 6ft 6? 😂

I love your posts, they're so interesting. My last really big book hangover was The Unfinished Business of Eadie Browne by Freya North. Hugely memorable for me, I was bereft when I finished it.

Unfortunately the seller is proving to be as bad as Evri. Dragging their feet, and having to constantly push them to action. A 'Letter Before Action' will be going out to them tomorrow. Hopefully they'll shift themselves after that.

We'll be checking who the courier is from now on for anything we order online. I'm buying nothing else delivered by Evri. It's a shame they all get tarred with the same brush. My daughter's Evri delivery driver is really good. As are our Amazon drivers.
