Whilst on an excursion from Koobi Fora with the late great Kamoya Kimeu, I stumbled across a mandible fragment..... Not a significant specimen (H. erectus) but very exciting find for me nonetheless.

Been to a meeting in London, and happened to pass my alma mater. What the £&$¥# have they done with the Jeremy Bentham pub! I almost cried, many fond (and partially lost) memories.....

I use the gorilla from this plate as my Microsoft user icon to remind myself to learn from rather than repeat history.... As a PhD student i thought I had made a new and exciting discovery regarding the tentorium cerebelli. Turned out Thomas Huxley stole my idea back in 1863, bastard!
