Let’s get to work.
I guess I thought “Make sure your own employees aren’t picked up by mysterious masked people” wasn’t that high of a bar, but apparently for Wal-Mart, it is. #mnleg

Honestly, the most chilling part was how completely unfazed the manager was.

Unidentified masked people just abducting someone outside of his own fuckin store and you wouldn’t know it was any unusual Friday. #mnleg #BloomingtonMN

I say “we assume” because of course these people who I’m sure were “just following orders” were unidentified and masked. #mnleg #BloomingtonMN

And let's be clear: Trump and Republicans are making a deliberate choice to let a broken, rigged system continue to benefit billionaires and big corporations. My @mnhousedfl.bsky.social colleagues and I are committed to making a better offer for MNans and doing the work to make it happen. #mnleg

The bad news is that the projected deficit for the next biennium is higher than we'd hoped - thanks to slower expected economic growth and higher costs for health care and long-term care coming as a result of the Big Stupid Bill, and the impacts of tariffs and reckless immigration actions. #mnleg

The good news is that our current budget shows a $2.47 billion surplus (not including $3.77 billion in budget reserves) - thanks the responsible budgeting and investment choices DFLers made in 2023 that continue to pay off for our families and communities. #mnleg

No matter what lies and bile Donald Trump spews about Minnesota’s Somali community, the simple truth is that our Somali neighbors make our state and community stronger. I wish we could say the same about the President. #mnleg

But here in Bloomington, we also know how these kinds of words and actions can inspire far worse - how they can persuade someone to bomb a church and school. I am praying that we don’t see that kind of evil in our city again. #mnleg

There are three, possibly four, competitive #mnleg House races in the East Metro alone. If this is how things are going for Republicans, then they might as well hand over their half-time gavels now. #mnleg

Ds are competitive in a Trump +22% Congressional district in TENNESSEE of all places. And the fact that Rs couldn’t field someone in WOODBURY is a monumental failure on their part. #mnleg

Special elections (esp in January) are always funky, BUT THAT’S WHY YOU ALWAYS RUN SOMEONE. Because sometime you get lucky. I know because it happened in my own House district in a different special election in January 2016. #mnleg
