The name Bakiribu waridza derives from Kariri words: bakiribú (“comb”) and waridzá (“mouth”), referring to the animal’s comb-like dentition. The name also honors the Indigenous peoples native to the Araripe region, Brazil.

It's interesting cuz, even if Giga co-existed with Rex, niche partitioning would've kicked in, with Giga focusing on titanosaurs like Alamosaurus to *avoid* fights.

Fights would only happen over territory/nest raids, or if prey was scarce, and Laramidia was highly productive (see: Nanotyrannus)
