@gruber.foo CarPlay & Android Auto let drivers have the best of both worlds — benefits of newer apps (phone, audio streaming, maps, etc.) built on phones that get new HW 3-4x in the typical ownership of a car — without having to buy an entire new car that would make such SW upgrades possible.

It really helps when it’s said “ground stop FOR xyz”. Every time I hear “ground stop AT xyz”, a little part of me dies inside.
If they stop movement at an airport, that’s not a ground stop. In that case, the airport is closed.
