Today's workshop at the University of Nottingham was on Bronze Age metalwork from watery environments and the implications for curatorial practice. Got to hang out with all these lovely things and also look at a replica Iron Age chariot :)

This weekend I thoroughly enjoyed learning to cast a replica copper axe head, based on Ötzi the Iceman's, and hafting it on an ash handle cut from one of our own trees.
