Update: without giving any specific spoilers, the latest episode of Peacemaker confirms a fan theory that shows this show is also going very hard against fascism in its own way. I'm getting similar vibes to HBO's watchmen, the way they blindside the viewer with it.

You're missing the point, and showing your ignorance. That was considered a good rate for a freelancer on a tabletop RPG at the time, and it still is. Writers are undervalued in many industries, and that doesn't mean I got scammed.
