I watched Hegseth’s confirmation hearing. I never heard the words warfighter & lethality used so much. He’s obsessed with killing & destruction. He’s also totally unqualified to run a huge federal gov’t department.

FTR one of my jobs was at an airline. That was 1978-83. I had to fly standby & dress in business attire. We were the last to board & everyone knew we were employees. The paying customers didn’t have to wear uncomfortable clothes. I was quite jealous.

All through school we had dress regulations. When I started work in the 70’s we had dress restrictions.
I don’t remember when business casual came into vogue.
I’m retired now. I wear sweats & sleep in old, comfy T shirts & joggers. I’m not spending hours in uncomfortable clothes to make Duffy happy.
