Today was a great day for #kamloops. The official groundbreaking of the Centre for Performing Arts happened. So many people were part of it, including Ron & Rae Fawcett, who brought forward the design concept and generously donated to the project. Hooray.

Wow & wow. #kamloops Christmas market opened tonight. Lots to see. Lots of vendors. A lot elves did a lot of work to make it happen. Thank you.

Part of yesterday’s of the Salvation Army’s kettle campaign. They have a goal of $240,000 times support their social services. Watch for the bell ringers all over time. #kamloops

It was great to be with so many others to launch this year’s Operation Red Nose in #kamloops. Year after year, volunteers come out to keep folks safe. Two City Council teams will be on the road this holiday season.

Today council toured the outdoor ice rink & path at Riverside Park. It’s getting close! The concrete is poured and is now curing. The Zamboni/maintenance building is complete. They were pouring the slab for the chillers. Next step, finishing off the landscaping. Good to +8C, bigger than an NHL rink
