I think the other thing that really helped was that I would ask probing questions like “what is it you like about Trump?” and he didn’t have a good answer. In his mind, he was voting for the GOP agenda which he now understands is a racist farce.
Plus, the golf guys convinced him he was nuts. 😂

He finally saw trump for the conman that he is and began to read more factual info as opposed to the Fox-QAnon nonsense that saturated his newsfeed.

Not only that, I was born into and raised by them! If only you knew my life story.
But now, I'm an old woman with a few good years left in my life.
And for the record, I've had a few successes, including friends who have changed to democrat or independent party voting and have begun to evolve.

I disagree. I have no where stated that we are hanging out on a daily basis. What I have not done is shun them or angrily dismiss them from interaction because of their rigid and deeply ingrained political and religious views.
