We tend to assign human facial expressions to them when of course that's not what is really happening. In reality this individual seems to be doing well and is very bright when I put smashed peanuts out for it in the cold winter. I love their personalities as they forage and do wren stuff!

As an outsider I like it as is, but I also think you will do awesome if you work on the ear, too!
I saw your comment about metallic paints, they look so cool in person but just as a warning it's hard to get them to look okay in photos or scans, etc, depending on your goals
