Sharing this story because I see a lot of devs worried what AI means for dev jobs. Especially that AI is pretty good at coding.
Production software is still built by professionals who know how to do this - both with and without AI. And I see no signs of this changing so far.

Perhaps depending on what the content of the course is, choosing between Java for teaching OOP, TypeScript for both FP and OOP, Python for scientific applications, and the list goes on

as the #LLMs evolve, one aspect of the evolution will be personalisation and that is the start of a very interesting change. there each dev will be replicated by its personalised #codingassistant which is as unique as her/himself and evolves as such.

such a tool is a great addition to a dev's arsenal. an #AIAgent is NOT deterministic, so even with same inputs it might generate different output, now the dev her/himself is a very important parameter in the whole equation and it affects output very much. ...

hm I was on a "legacy" Pro plan and Sonnet 4.5 never came through to me. but thanks for pointing it out. What we need to see is bigger context windows. The UX of AI in Zed Agent is superior to external & cli agents but unfortunately there are some critical limits.

no idea why didn't you bring sonnet 4.5 to Pro users, but that is the reason that I'm for now off the subscription of Zed Pro.
also once you are in the cost mode and not number of commands anymore, need to re-evaluate the cost versus going directly to Anthropic or Google.

and it is still too easy for me to spot such scams due to the low photo quality and co. but I was just thinking as the AI is bringing down the cost of all these things: fake photos, fake websites, fake histories, fake names with backgrounds and so on, we will soon be doomed to a very high extend!

nothing on company's website pointing to his profile. sending a calendly link asking for a screenshot of it. passing the interview to someone else with another made up name and photo and there goes the game. this was the first time I was approached by such scammers ...

What about Sonnet 4.5? Is it going to be available on Zed Pro? I’m considering canceling my Pro plan and switching to Claude Code for this model!
