The point I was trying to make is that he is capable of playing here now. He himself said he wasn’t. But at no point did I say “he should be here starting ahead of our first choice centre halves”. We can’t play the two of them all the time though, Danso’s had almost 1000 minutes over 18 games.

It’s always harder to shine at a bigger club. FWIW I don’t think he was bad at PSG either, but you really have to be a world beater at the mega clubs to stay there. He showed glimpses against PSG recently (ironically) so I am hopeful but sceptical as to our chances of keeping him.

I didn’t say that at all.
This is the latest in a line of examples that show this kid is capable now. Not tomorrow. He’ll be well served by this loan, but I’m not sure it was necessary. I do think both club and player will benefit though.

I think Frank doesn’t fancy him because they got off on the wrong foot, wasn’t he excluded from PSG for tardiness? That couple with the past issues, Ange struggled with him too, injuries again this season….he looks like a basket case, I’d not rely on him either

Agreed, if we ever get to see Frankfurt Muani in a Spurs shirt then it’ll have been worthwhile. A player I loved watching, it’s just not really worked out for him since

You didn’t. And I don’t disagree either. We’d have ruined him, not developed him! He does seem like one of those players that hits the ground running everywhere he goes though. Takes very little time to adapt, it seems. The PL will be a big step up, for a defender it’s harder to look good over here

I agree. He’s one of those players that if he was posting these numbers for a different club people would be saying “we should sign him”.

There’s a real player in there, but evidently the use of illegal substances and a bad attitude are too much to overcome. It happens.

I bought a Fenerbache shirt for like £10 when at uni, to play football in. Had it on one night whilst walking past a kebab shop in Chester. Entire staff started chanting when they saw me. Fener fans, luckily. Could’ve been interesting!

I’m not sure both Romero and VDV are here next season tbh. Good for us and him, sure. What I was trying to say though is that he’s good enough to play for us now. Hopefully he’ll be even better next year.

He’s always been a class player but I questioned his commitment in the first couple of years. I think he is now my favourite player. I wish we had eleven of him

The more I watch it the weirder it gets. You have to put it down to ineptitude but when the decision is this bad it just looks corrupt. Not saying it is, but it’s hard to stomach when it’s so blatantly incorrect
