The final day of PAX has come and gone and we ended it like we started... by meeting with and having great conversations with some incredible people.

We had an incredible time with our third PAX and lots is coming to @videogamesaregood.bsky.social in the coming days but in the meantime...

One of the best moments of our PAX so far was randomly running into and meeting @remysiu.com and @heartimecia.bsky.social from @sunsetvisitor.studio for the first time.

1000xRESIST was our GOTY, it's such an important piece of work, and getting to share that with them face to face is the best. ❤️

As a baseball professional, I can tell you that this game was... really good.

Next, I finally got stuck into Aikyam. @aikyamgame.bsky.social

And it's everything I wanted and more. You play as a dance-obsessed student who is itching to show off their skills. There's a playfulness to the animation of its characters, bouncing and dancing with their charming stubbiness.

First, I spent some time with Crescent County. @annahollinrake.com

I have been on board with the vibes of the game from the start (make deliveries, kiss your friends) but was a little worried the motorbrooms would just feel like any other gaming motorcycle.

Boy, was I wrong.

It was killing my friend group that the eye patched agent in the Intergalactic trailer had such a familiar voice that I just couldn't place.

I was already all in on @ivyroadgames.bsky.social's Wanderstop, but @hellocakebread.bsky.social's announcing the March 11 release date for the game, during the PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted, just made me tear up.

And passionate folks making healing pieces of art are what I'm all about. Can't wait.

Just beat Metaphor Refantazio. And I gotta tell you. The last like five hours of the game are hitting even harder than expected considering... everything.

Both feel hopeful and like crying.

I still have to write my review of @cozygamepals.bsky.social Fear the Spotlight but just know this: it might be one of my favorite horror games of the last decade and has easily slot in as one of the games I will play every spooky season.

More to say on VGG soon. Go play it already!

Finished Heartstopper's latest season and yeah. That show continues to be a fountain of queer joy, an encapsulation of interpersonal conflict within a chosen family, and it remains one of the best things to cry to over the last few years.

All I can think about is Metaphor: Refantazio. I have to beat it for GOTY season, so at least it's kinda work to play it... but I also have a 24 hour stream to plan. And reviews to write. And videos to produce.

But all I can think about is my little kingly found family.
