I doubt it is something tangibly possible. I don’t even know if there exist languages that communicate only in non-gendered pronouns or articles. English is an odd one that doesn’t have gendered articles.

I may be projecting whatever undiagnosed autism I am onto the thing: I know I’m no mind reader. If I observe someone to not do a thing, my default is to assume I just don’t know what that individual’s preferences, or limitations, are. People are not purely logical actors.

I would really like the USA to be remade into a parliamentary democracy with proportional representation. It would be nice to see elimination of the federal executive along with presidents, just have prime ministers(or whatever name) arise from the democratic parliament.

Lazy electorate is right. Just looking at the pie charts showing registered voter participation in US federal elections boggles my mind to see the millions not even putting in a vote. It’s such a huge chunk of the circle that I’m confident I don’t know what the masses of my country want.
