The problem of “wasted” content imo only comes into play when choices are signaled as obviously good or bad, because we know most players want the good outcome. Truly interesting choices have a more even split.

I love how slow Wikipedia moves during controversy. For YEARS after the "GamerGate" harassment campaign, editors refused to give up the URL of the *original* meaning of the word: A gamergate is a kind of ant.

My honest answer is I don’t think we can build systems that give individual humans authority without attracting the very worst people to those positions.

I’ve been thinking a lot from a small dev perspective of how to better future proof my personal projects. I’m currently developing a game in javascript ‘cause I figure its ubiquity will at least make porting to future technologies easier.
