A realistic oil painting of a fisted butthole. Not really prolapsed, but ummmmm loose. It’s done with natural colors with a light pink circle around the rounded hole. It’s on a gold acrylic background.

I have the opposite situation of some of you wonderful Bluesky drawers, illustrators. I got color down, give it to me and I go ham, but if you ask me to draw something black and white with just lines—absolutely lost. How do you do it?!

Sketchbook page of patterned small ovals in red and golden yellow. Two rows of 15 ovals, one row of 17. Row one and row two, 7 & 8 are yellow. Row three, 8 & 11 are yellow. Two outlined legs in a cerulean blue to signify pants and two outlines of brown boots at the end of the pants, where feet would be. The cow person legs/feet are dip I Ted horizontally. Two cactus flowers-1 spiky red with 11 petals that fade to pink then orange in the middle. A pink flower with about 25 petals outlines are rounded but color inside is made with vertical lines towards the center of the flower. A second ring is draw with red and a layer of brown on top. The center is yellow with a few orange dots and the very middle is deep brown. There is a vertical green cactus outlined, with small vertical lines inside to represent the vertical lines of the lobes of a cactus. 7 squiggly gray lines topped with red squiggly lines, under is 8 lines in a similar style straight gray lines topped with 8 smaller red lines. Kind of look like cattails, but small. At the bottom are varying lengths of horizontal lines in blue followed by a break, then a yellow very thin banana shape, like a thin line that has a very gentle curve up on both ends. It looks kind of like thin yellow boats leaving a blue wake behind them, but abstracted.

Testing some things out. I thought of a series like this but in oils. Using watercolor and pencil to kind of sketch the idea. I was impatient (😅)—you can seen the smudges, but tbh they make it look more like the subway. Subway tiles from the Bedford Nostrand G.

Porcelain, hand built (coil) pot. It’s a little lumpy, but there is something so lovely about seeing the imperfection of the hand in the shape. #ceramics #porcelain
Porcelain vase or pot, lumpy body, lumpy uneven collar. The lumps show lines of the thin coils that I used to make it. The background is a seamless in teal.

I made a series based on where I’m from in Western Texas. I found glass around the area and used it to melt into the bottom of a few ceramics. I like to think of this series as a live letter. 💙 #art #ceramics

I still have a hard time understanding abstract expressionism (especially DeKooning). So I used an engobe application that I thought might help me understand. I applied three different colors of engobe and this planter and let them dry a bit before scraping off with a metal rib. #art #ceramics
Stoneware planter on a wooden floor against a white background. The planter is decorated in colored ceramic slips in a light brown, sky blue, and dusty red. They are scraped away with varying degrees of depth so that the colors are all seen as well as the Sandy colored clay body. It looks kind of scraped/smeared and gives desert vibes. A Norfolk Island pine is planted in the post of which you can only see the trunk and a small part of the first branches with pine like leaves. The small tree disappears off the top of the photo.
