I might not be nerding it out at PAX West today, but I’m sniffing fumes at the racetrack instead! I got the chance to walk the track this morning before the drivers (including my brother whaaaaat?!) hit the pavement later today.

I had a lovely evening with friends and watching the incredible @dimension20.bsky.social crew in Seattle tonight! I kinda regret not getting any merch, but the lines were crazy long. I’ll be super sleepy tomorrow and it’ll have been worth it. TTRPG nerds are the best.

Today was the final goodbye to my grandpa. 🌼 We honored his wishes by (legally!) spreading his ashes in the ocean, with flowers. Considering I have a history of motion sickness, it ended up being completely lovely out on the Puget Sound. And my pasty white skin didn’t even burn! Go SPF 50!

I’m so sorry. ♥️ He reminds me of my very good boy Tiger that I also had to say goodbye to after 18 long years. Cherish the time you still have, and the time you’ve already been able to make memories with, and know that he loves you right back.

Oh man, you gotta go down a linguistics rabbit hole on YouTube. It’s fascinating. I forgot pretty much all of it from college, but there are specific phonetic terms for every which way you can pronounce a single letter or sound.

My family got really sick one holiday season. It spread across most of the group of us over a couple weeks, including me. To cope, I booted up this game and played it virtually nonstop for days. I never touched it again, but it was there for me when I needed it.
