Root has better stability at the expense of a barebones featureset.
Stoat has more features, and is fairly usable, but it's still in the middle of a messy transition from when it was Revolt and can be kinda buggy (see image).

Juiced fun fact: in Eliminator's titular lap knockouts, if you manage to lap an opponent, you eliminate them on the spot. Lap the entire field, and you end the race early.

Decided I'd try to install Forza Horizon 3 on a 7 y/o version of Windows to see if it could bypass the PC version's online matchmaking issues.
Ended up spending 8 hours troubleshooting the most Microsoft bullshit possible to get the game running at all.
