Idk much about normal d&d so the majority of my drow knowledge comes from bg3. It’s cool to learn more about them tho, esp since I have a drow Paladin that I simply adore & aim to make his lore at least somewhat feasible lol

Super excited for wave two, and a glowing Gale chase would be so cute. My idea for a chase would be Wyll post-transformation (horns + eye color change etc) since the rest of them seem to be their first appearance looks and Wyll’s first appearance is without his horns

+either for failing them as a leader/friend or for his past misdeeds. He lost people all the time in Menzoberranzan, but he had no real personal connections with them like he’s made with members of the party

+even the ones who weren’t as close to him, but it’s simply not the same level. On the other side, I have literal PAGES of lore for Tav’s “bad ending” where he dies and Gale completely falls off the deep end to the point where he has an alignment change into True Neutral or even Lawful/Neutral Evil

+most of his armor even has a neck guard to prevent a repeat of the scar on his throat. Having clothes that fully cover him gives a sense of security even if it’s only simple camp clothes that won’t normally stop a blade. He dislikes feeling exposed in any way

+tbh it’s kinda a discipline thing he never let go of. He’d hate to cut his hair, & keeping it like this allows him not to worry about it getting caught in something or obscuring his vision, which allows him to be more efficient in his adventuring & combat
