Survived long enough to see rights given me in the 1970’s disappear. Looks like voting and due process are next. Doing what I can.

Gardener by temperament, biologist by training, dog and cat wrangler. Sci-fi audiobooks rule. And Pratchett.
Happily sharing my porch frog. His evening grin from the tiny pool makes everything right.

I hope someone steps up to save her. My most recent rescue is pit-mix born on TX streets and brought in with littermate at 7 mos. Her smile is worth the two years of work I’ve put in to help her find it.

I love this! I discovered a pacific tree frog living in the large mounting hole of my carved porch hanging. I gave them a pool and they now have a friend. I am awaiting my Official Hedgewitch Certificate.

My daughter sent me this irreverence today and it made me laugh. Hope it helps. My children are my anchor to hope. Hang in there.

You’re not alone. It’s like feeling the universe tighten around you. How do you push back? In happier news, there’s a tree frog living in my porch carving. I gave him a pool. He likes it.

Found another bee on her break to share. Remember to rest sometimes, and just breathe.

I’m sorry but this fact sheet is mostly wrong. Wasps DO pollinate, but they are also important garden pest predators. One specifically lays eggs on the tomato hornworm, which saves your tomatoes from utter destruction. Leave them be, please!
