I've been shouted down more than a few times by single women who don't think that I have any valuable information to share, despite being with the same man for almost 15 years and married for 10. 🤷🏿‍♀️

There were no podcasts relationship gurus in the early 2010s. The dating advice came from trial and error, listening to actually successful married people, and truly looking to break patterns that you saw in your own dysfunctional parents' relationships.

I think that people truly looking for a partner online nowadays have to contend with a lot more foolishness beyond just normal Mars / Venus disconnect.

I really just think times have changed. I mean, this was...2011, 2012? Ain't nothing the same that many years later, especially in this capitalist hellscape that we live in. I also feel like there's a certain level of depravity in dating these days that absolutely was not present during my day
