Every time I sit down to write, it's like taking a trip on a glass-bottom boat. Sure, I know where we're headed, but you have to look into the depths in order to truly appreciate the journey.

And that takes time.

Glass-bottom boats aren't speed boats for a reason.

I have an outline all the way to the end, and I know exactly what will happen, but for me it's not the sequence of events that make a story, it's the journey the characters take through those events that really matter.

I wish I could do that thing where you basically write the whole story in chapter summaries and then go back and fill in the details, but I just CAN'T. I discover so much about the characters and story arcs just by digging into the details, and THAT drives the plot for me.

I'd love to know from the source which word was intended. I think both, because both work in this context. But if it's going to be censored I'd think they'd go with furor as the "real" spelling in order to get around the censors.
