The left side points out clothing details between Soma and Mina "Both Mina + Soma adorn some sort of fleece/fur that dangles off" "This is the pattern on her clothing - both traditional and everyday the cohesiveness to cloud soma aesthetic." The right showcases Soma, Graham and Alucard lined up. Soma = Blue + White (will gain red) Graham = Red + White Alucard = Yellow + black Mina = Yellow + Red + blue (gained) Mina incorporates colours from both Graham + Alucard as she enacts both as mentor (Alucard) and parallel (Graham) (Though mostly Graham to showcase the polar opposite side of the spectrum) <- Colours are coded in specific ways in this made up show (they will gain + lose colours depending on scene + character arc)

I could actually talk off someone's ear about each shot in this animatic, but I already have, and that took like an hour LMAO, so here's a rundown with notes from yours truly
TEXT: What was suppose to be a small break from "locking the fuck in" turned very quickly into a heavy introspection of the lived experience in religious/educational institutions, workaholicism and the big year of 2025, along with commentary on colonialism and position of authority. A lot of this is baked into "subtext" but it feels really explicit to me lol. Though you can read it however resonates with you because different parts will emotionally connect to you based on your own lived experiences, while other parts don't. This type of art here is to speak to one's feelings since what moved me to actually do this was Guillermo Del Toro's Frakenstein. pic on the right includes olrox standing next to a pillar in a mixed combo between his bloodborne design + boston design and mizrak looking through a window TEXT: Windows and pillars play a massive role in this animatic! Windows and borders are very ingrained into all types of work that I do, it's become a calling card lol Some very important things of note are the following Windows: Reflection, perspective, watching, enlightment, amongst other things. Pillars: Support, strength and stability. Since it is also a vertical line, it can be borders and division. There's more to it but that's the general gist. showcasing explainer of one of the shots from this animatic TEXT: Something I took of note when doing this was that the panels/ visuals themselves should do the talking, not the dialogue itself. The dialogue should support what's happening in the scene which is why I use dialogue minimally. I also wanted to have a limited amount of actual shots used for pacing, so utilising the setting to it's fullest was really important to me. This is only one of many shots that uses both windows and pillar to explain what's going on, adding further meaning the scrapped shot behind me was actually going to be used for these sets of lines, however it broke away from the windows and pillars, plus lacked utilisation of the setting to showcase BOTH character's mental position in this monologue (also broke the 180 rule).
