Thank you for taking the time to read the alt-text. 🙏🏼 It was definitely disappointing behavior from lawmakers. But we have a strong Indigenous community that works to keep the culture and history alive – and a larger community that supports their efforts.

We have crows & hawks that gather in the neighborhood. One crow in particular freaked me out, as it would fly along on my walks and caw at me! I heard crows recognize human faces and can carry grudges. I worried it mistook me for someone who mistreated it. But to my relief it just kept me company. 😅
