Based on Farage's statement that Gill was one "bad apple" this suggests that all of Reform is "rotten". So on precautionary principle would you not declare Reform as a threat to national security rather than a "probe" which may take years?

Because if they were to state the truth the whole charade would be exposed. They're trying to present the whole thing as 'business as usual' rather than a massively corrupt "fit up".

This may also be part of it... But it's only where people haven't declared earnings over the no tax income level (which the state pension brings you close to).
