Warner Archive just released the Blu-Ray of a new 4K restoration from best preservation elements of this addictive 1934 MGM melodrama with music starring Joan Crawford, her soon-to-be hubby Franchot Tone, Gene Raymond and a scene-stealing Edward Arnold. Directed by Clarence Brown

Warner Archive recently released the Blu-Ray from a new master of a 4K scan from separation masters of this 1938 musical comedy that was MGM’s first Technicolor feature and the popular team’s first contemporary. The film won a special Oscar for its gorgeous cinematography.

Warner Archive went back to the best existing elements for this 50th anniversary remastered Blu-Ray of Jack Haley Jr’s Valentine to the glorious MGM musicals. It’s hard to describe the impact this doc had on me. It was near impossible to see vintage musicals on the big screen
