And most of all we ain’t yet in as dangerous a situation as the US. Starmer may be dull and indeed a bit crap but he ain’t the Donald.

Sort of.

That’s unfair. He has given everyone in the U.K. the gift of Putin’s love.

This story makes me think that the incoming Labour needed to pay more attention to the media landscape. Apply Leveson 2, fire and rehire at ofcom, change ownership rules for news papers and break up info monopolies

I light of Trump selling out Ukraine and dismantling NATO credibility I would suggest rejoining the single market is an urgent priority. Boot economic growth as fast as possible and pay for the scariest weapons we can.

How about a new law? Newspaper La must be owned by tax paying citizens only as they must bear consequences of their campaigns and actions.
November 22, 2025 at 11:33 AM
Hurrah. How about the energy pricing equation reflecting this? That would be fun

I feel a chat with Carole Cadwallder would be timely

In the early 20th century so many aristocratic socialists emerged that the Fabian’s referred to the “Class Consciousness of Sin”. Some fought fascism in Spain. Now they pay therapists and tax dodge in Dubai. Gimme the old days.

Just think.Johnson and his clown cabinet killed 23000. Imagine what Farage and his bigger clown cabinet could do if there is another pandemic, or a solar flare or Putin rolls into the Baltics. Millions could die. Literally. From incompetence and glib trivialisation.

Yaxley Lennon is a vile racist who gets off on violence. Isn’t that Fascist?

We need to rejoin the SM, boost economic growth and create a free trade armaments trading system from Seoul to Sunderland. The US cannot be relied on anymore.

I’d have fired them a long time ago.

I hope rugby (both codes) will stand up for migrants. Just yesterday we saw Lawrence, Itoje, Feye Webosi in action. All would be kicked out under this foolish regime.
November 16, 2025 at 10:37 AM
So liberals are alienated. No one will change from voting Reform. And Labour turn into Moseley’s party. Who is advising these fools?
November 16, 2025 at 10:35 AM
For me this is illustrated in sport. Labour’s new rules mean no Mo Farah. Tory and Reform plans mean England would not have had Itoje, Lawrence, Feye-Wabosi. This nation of ours would be lesser. Duller. Weaker. To please golf club bigots. To hell with that.

This has the the stink of Russian collusion. That Russia report needs refreshing and release.

He is gonna launch a holy war on behalf of the Paddington and Aunt Lucy liberation committee!!!

And I’ve seen footage of men under a tactical nuke detonated 10000 feet over their heads. They were fine. Tank engines still running 500 metres from
Ground zero. Don’t tell me they aren’t deemed usable by the men who flattened Mauripol
November 11, 2025 at 9:03 PM
There you go. Why do you think I think nuke use is ok? I don’t. I know what the weapons do. And don’t. So I want everyone to shit themselves for fear of using them. If they don’t we will have Russians wherever they want to go. Ukraine not convinced you? 500 years of Russian history says so.
November 11, 2025 at 9:01 PM
No, I think fear is credible because awful humans who use it believe it. Interesting you do not. Possibly, and not a criticism, because you think in the 80s paradigm; one use of a nuke equals total apocalypse. Russians don’t think like that. Putin falls, he dies. His risk assessment differs.
November 11, 2025 at 8:52 PM
I wish I agreed. I see no reason why when faced with the fall of a regime and their execution a Putin type wouldn’t risk it. I see them as a domestic abuser, a family annihilation type. Preferring murder and suicide to humiliation. Sad but reflects my experience.
November 11, 2025 at 7:35 PM
Now you may not think that’s needed. But I have been studying history and this sort of stuff since the 80s. I think it is. Why? Because of something called Rusky Mir. It’s the Russian world view. Colonial, imperial, apocalyptic. I want them too scared to enact it on us. Cos it’s bad in Ukraine.
