It’s wild how quickly your “normal” changes as a teacher. In general ed, I could count on one hand how many times I dealt with bodily fluids.
In special ed? It’s basically daily. Yesterday included a student attempting to do his business in the corner…thankfully, the diaper did its job #TeacherLife

Had one of my favorite students (which is all of them, obviously) move to a new school without a proper goodbye. Those moments always tug at the heart, even when it’s the right move for the student.
