Finally got this posted- some great comics out there!
The robotics team I was advising did amazing all things considered - their first tournament, middle and elementary school mixed, etc. By the end they missed the finals by one spot coming in 13th. They learned so much and get to do it all over again (without me) next Saturday.

Ugh. I’m in a school parking lot getting ready to enter a robotics tournament… it’s just a jump to the left. 🙄😱

Awesome night at the Ringo Awards - so many creators and books I had actually read being honored. Congratulations to everyone! It was nice to hear many talk about their “imposter syndrome” but I still think the only real imposter in the room was me. @baltimorecomiccon.bsky.social

Today’s mission almost accomplished. I attended most of the sessions I had wanted to. Chatted with some really nice people. Still have two books that need to be signed, but tomorrow is another day. Cecil got to say “Hi” to Jeff so he’s happy.

I keep being asked if I’m an exhibitor… Have I finally reached that level of geekiness? Still have a couple hours to go until things start and am sitting in a quiet spot away from everything and everyone.

Designing “Comic Shop Gremlins” for a comic strip idea. I’ve considered working on some action poses. Then realized that the majority of the gremlins I know of just sit around looking at their phones. Almost more like gargoyles instead of gremlins. Ahhh… the creative process in action.
