i downloaded the silly horse girl game. at first i was worried because its a gacha, but so i’ve been having a lot of fun. all of the girls are so fun and unique and i love reading dialogue and going,

The SEGA CD port is the only rendition that I think alters the tone, but I think it places more of an emphasis on the world being deceptively calm, which I think fits SMT 1 perfectly. You can focus on the electronic sounds (“daily life”) for so long, until the end, where you can’t ignore that-

To me, Kichijoji is at most “sinister”. I know ATLUS has remixed it endlessly, but I don’t think it loses any of that “there’s something ominous in the horizon” feeling by giving it a little more energy. SMT NINE’s two variants feel more like “There’s something weird I need to get to the bottom of”.

To me, Kichijoji is at most “sinister”. I know ATLUS has remixed it endlessly, but I don’t think it loses any of that “there’s something ominous in the horizon” feeling by giving it a little more energy. SMT NINE’s two variants feel more like “There’s something weird I need to get to the bottom of”.
