I agree, SOTN has a toooon of very cool weapons that you straight up have to grind for, imo, way past what the game requires. I don't think I'll ever get the sword familiar weapon.

Fortunately, at least in the case of Aria, the game spells out what you have to do, so you'll know exactly what you need.
