When you go through many bird photos, there will always be things and patterns that repeat and that you notice. One of these is the head tilt - a pose that seemingly all birds are really good at, be it cute, slightly threatening or just curious 🙂 #birds 🐦🪶

A Friday frog, but I forgot to post because I fell asleep exhausted when I got home. Frog oversaw my potting all afternoon until I jostled their perch one time too many and Boing! gone. Thumbnail sized, very plump and alert!

A little apple-green Pacific Chorus Frog (Pseudacris regilla) perches against the trunk of a young Lemon Cypress (Cupressocyparis 'Wanda'). The thready scaled twigs of the conifer are brilliant acid-yellowy-green; the frog is shiny with plumpness and has probably been on slug patrol among my potted shrubs, a wave of baby grey slugs has hatched after the recent rains. The frog has bumpy skin on their legs and a pretty black eye-line from their snout to their shoulder.
