Some of what led to quacks running our nation‘s healthcare is medical institutions tolerating alternative medicine. Med schools treating it like it works and having quacks on staff directly led to doctors feeling more comfortable going into wellness grift and legitimizing the science deniers.

I’m not white, but I don’t think a lot of his critics believe the worst about him, it’s more that we believe he’s the wrong person for the moment. We don’t need a centrist leader in a fight against extremism.
