Some people will change, some people won't. All you can do is take care of yourself. The word "community" is thrown around a lot, but I don't think that word should apply to places where a business model takes priority.

We know conversion therapy doesn’t work because the society we live in is conversion therapy. It is deeply rotted through with oppositional sexism and attendance is considered mandatory, no small infraction unnoticed. Not everyone can find the exit door, a deep injustice that often goes unnoticed.
