Nice data: I'd like to see this one go back to the 1950s, and a graph of profit / salaries going back to the 1950s -- I understood that the capital / labor pack was to support increased rate of profit in return for increased wages, even if at a lower rate.

I like this chart. I'd like to see the 1950s graph, too. I always thought that the 'pact' in the 1950s was capital increases profits and workers (unions) accept as long as salaries go along, even if not at the same rate.

It's not the disapproval rate, or the popular vote; it's the electoral college (and ballot box security). These last two are up in the air.
