They had Project For Awesome long before those clowns. They don’t get to own project all year.

I’m leaking my prfaq here:

Amazon Q for Billing:

AWS billing got so complex, even we let AI predict your charge. surprise fees are now auto-generated in advance? Now, Q helps you decode the bill AI calculated, so you can wonder why data transfer still costs more than compute.

Super interesting, someone should do a podcast on just who is this person.

I just wish we had flexibility instead of Jassy deciding for us… about to go waste an hour of the day driving in and out for that swipe!

I hate doing RTO5, it feels so wasteful. My individual productivity is so much better at home. I have to admit the last month of it has felt much more energized. My team is starting to work together more and it’s breaking down a bunch of walls we had before. (I do senior SDE “work” at AWS)

Some mix of D and E where e is ad free! Ads not carefully chosen can be grating! I also don’t love it when they are not super relevant or repeating!

Really sad to have the same thoughts. :(

Yep! It’s all about layers! Ideally everything piece of identity should be secured with something you have, something you know, and something you are. My phone is locked away behind a strong password or biometrics before you can actually access any info via mirroring!

I mean afaik it’s still accomplishing the goal of multiple pieces of info needed to prove your identity. It has some proximity guarantee to the device as it needs to be in the same local network. Stronger than iMessage which you can just directly sign into on Mac.
