The book was originally titled “Ganesh” and reads like earnest YA by a lib English prof about the experiences of a hippie’s kid in a Tamilian ashram experiencing culture shock when his dad passes and he’s shipped off to America.

“Ordinary Magic’s” incredible, Ryan Reynolds does a bad Indian accent and stilted bud-bud syntax the whole movie. The bread and butter of so many ABCD actors. He took our jerbs :)
