Hey #WritingCommunity friends – it's finally time! I need a couple of #BetaReaders for the first draft of my sequel. I put all the info in the image & ALT text. I'm more than happy to swap, too.

Post a perfect album from the 90s that isn’t Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, or Alice In Chains.

(Did the original post mean to leave the field so wide open? This is far too easy. Also, PJ & Soundgarden were good but neither had a perfect album.)

A word search which clearly added several words left-to-right in order to make people find words like, "penis," and "wine." But since MVC's a jerk, xe looked vertically and found the words, "ken," "hula," and "mac."

MVC’s reply to the person who callously said people can use a bot for ALT text. His reply reads: “This isn’t an excuse or replacement for not doing the bare minimum of inclusion. Least of all because you could invoke said bot after posting an image without ALT text if you cared to.”

Silly post but I'm not kidding, btw. A friend read the first draft and was worried about me. As I prep for beta reads, I added "a note from the author" at the beginning, which closes with this:
With that said, [text blurred out] is ever-present in this story. Whereas the first was fuelled by hope for a better future, this one continually (and quite literally) hits Mary and Davi while they are down. It is drastically darker in tone than *Fractured Children of Earth*, and for that I can only apologize and hope you understand.

Not to crap on just deserts but like... this is from March. The person posting didn't use ALT text, nor did they provide a link to the source.

What's the point of this kind of stuff? It's not misinformation, but it also odd to surface it again. Right? Am I being weird?

❗️ Breaking news: Paw

(Shortly after these photos, Elena stormed off in anger.)
MVC’s cat, Elena, curled up on a blanket so that three of her paws are visible, including the beans of two paws. The camera focus is on her face, and she does not look pleased her picture is being taken. A similar shot to the previous one, but Elena’s eyes are almost fully closed. The camera focus is also on her front paw, which is sticking out and turned sideways to show the beans.

Had a vasectomy yesterday. Resting and recovering today.

Elena is sort of happy with this situation but also hates that I have to move her every 3 hours to take my meds. (Hence the apprehensive look.)

Finished edits for the first draft of the sequel. Book 1 has a better balance of words between my MCs. This one is skewed toward Mary.

Now to … *gulp* … hop back into my groups and get involved! 😳
