The little wicketkeeper was my dad. Royal Navy signals. WWII. He survived the war. He died 30 years later of PTSD related issues. When he had his final stroke, he was yelling ‘Kamikaze!’ as he lay on the floor outside my room.
He hated fascists. Hated them.
