this was the same teacher who refused to answer when I asked for help on a simple math problem and instead chose to angrily crumple up my worksheet and throw it in the garbage, before handing me a new one and yelling at me to "do it again." so I'm inclined to believe she just fucking hated her job 😂

the funny thing is that classes were only an hour, yet I remember watching the whole film from start to finish. so it must've been split over 2-3 days. to be clear, this teacher was utterly joyless and at times actively hostile towards her students. god only knows what she must've been thinking lol

it happens with everything these days and it always feels incredibly forced. people can't trust their own hearts anymore, they'll LOVE a piece of media for a couple months but as soon as the negative opinion pieces start rolling out they immediately flip and pretend they ALWAYS thought it was shit 🙃

people always looking for "inconsistent art styles" and "weird hands" and I'm just like 💀 ok so basically I'm just screwed lmao

making art is such a solitary activity for me... I *hate* being watched while I'm drawing, whether it's live or after the fact, in-person or online. this feeling has only grown as my following has ballooned over the years 😖
