A lot remains unknown but today we allow ourselves to hope—after years of despair. Assad’s fall does not necessarily mean freedom for Syria and the Syrian people, but it is certainly the very first step in our struggle to freedom.

Israel doesn't even try to hide its intentional killing of civilians no matter where they shelter, and yet many Western countries are still happy to be aligned with such a colonial fascist state.
