European Engineer - may not play nicely with people who hate clean energy progress.
It’s very sad, I worked at O2 for 10 years, they used to put the customer at the heart of their business. Since Virgin Media bought them, the American way seems to prevail. I expect O2 were relying on a majority of their customers not seeing or understanding the rise until it was too late.

It’s always tricky to determine payback, especially when the cost of electricity changes all the time.

Depends on your use case. If you have some equipment that can get you onto time of day tariffs, such as an EV or heat pump, batteries pay back quickly.

I believe that the budget in the UK today said that they were going to lower the social tax on electricity, but no details were mentioned.

I had an old banger for years because I bought the solar panels.

Exciting times, I don’t think I lived through such innovations in ICE cars

If it was a design flaw, wouldn’t have shown up before now? Isn’t this thing 30 years old?

Oh dear, Mercedes already have sold thousands of eActros trucks, that’s a photo of a production model.

Is this the car of many names? I think it may be the dolphin surf in the UK.

Hello from the UK

Would be interesting, depending on fail safes for stopping… I’d like to see the process diagram for the going and stopping 😂😂

I can’t see any GPS on the handlebars, nor any empty mount.
I expect most of the time they use knowledge, when that runs out they use a map.
November 14, 2025 at 3:53 PM
Have you posted this on X? Has anyone told you electricity and water don’t mix, despite them owning a kettle, dishwasher, washing machine etc etc etc?
November 14, 2025 at 3:49 PM
You mean a fake assassination attempt or two that basically got Trump elected and people killed doesn’t even rate discussion? Bloody hell, where I live a Minister got her tax wrong and resigned.
November 14, 2025 at 7:34 AM
Expect someone to get bribed or bumped off now. And why doesn’t anyone talk about the fake assassination attempts?

Unlike most other countries, China seems to under promise and over deliver.
November 11, 2025 at 3:54 PM
Gavin Newsom is going, it would be hilarious if he stoked up some more positive action

Maybe the adults can sort things out whilst the fat toddlers are sulking in their nappies?
November 11, 2025 at 3:50 PM
You’d best check up how air to water heat pumps work, most are monoblock.
November 10, 2025 at 12:55 PM
Not even confirmed, the story on the Torygraph said “may even be considering….” And then all the fossil fuelled media has been all over it ever since.
November 9, 2025 at 4:15 PM
The refrigerant for an average sized heat pump has the CO2 equivalent of around 500-600kg, or much less than a single winters use of gas in most European countries
November 9, 2025 at 4:13 PM
That’s not how maths works. By your estimate gas boilers would need a 50 year life span.

So pleased to see the comments can see right through Toyota’s Bull
November 8, 2025 at 3:03 PM
Toyota is only interested in delaying people from buying EVs. Batteries already outlast the car.
