I’m coming out of my cage and I am NOT FINE sorry to the poet gods, but I couldn’t resist a little gremlin, a little treat just for me where is that exasperating little fuck he’s late I’m not giving out my number to just anyone you got to be a silver tongued trickster a sly little weirdo, real wyrd in the old ways I want to bottle him up put him in neat canopic jars all in a row each finial head fashioned from bone I just want a guy with a fey streak in him a toadstool circle dancing mad boy grape leaves in his hair and pine cones tumbling but this is fine, I’ll go on as if it’s fine I’ll make my own magic curses and bells and bread baking It’s not a cage if I hold they keys I keep telling myself that It’s not a cage if I’m the one that locked the door

For a pantry cabinet Japanese cha tansu are already extremely functional. If I can have a room sized pantry I would use one of these.
A very large antique Taisho era Japanese cha tansu made of dark stained chestnut wood. It is made up of two pieces, an upper and lower section. The lower section has two solid wood sliding doors, 4 small drawers, and two large drawers. The upper section has glass sliding doors protecting the display shelves, two smaller glass sliding doors, two solid wood sliding doors, and one small drawer, and above the part with the large sliding glass doors are four sliding solid wood doors for storage.

This Moroccan wardrobe could become the skin for even an ENORMOUS modern fridge. There’s so much I could do with a place that I own!
A gigantic Moroccan wardrobe with two large doors that make up the upper 2/3rds, and two drawers and two cabinet doors that make up the lower third. Almost every inch of the cedar facing is carved.

Just! I cannot express how much I do not like modern kitchen cabinets. They are BORING. (Yes, even the custom faced ones you can get with the nice solid wood, it is not contest, antique wins.) I would use this dolphin table as a kitchen table, the glassfront hunting cabinet for tableware/glassware/-
A large antique Italian dolphin style library desk made of oak. It is ornately carved, with one large drawer with a brass ring pull, and a footrest/kick bar connecting the side legs. It is called a dolphin desk/table because the feet are carved to look like Renaissance style dolphin faces. It is in excellent condition. A very large glass front barely twist walnut hunting cabinet with book shelves behind the glass in the upper portion, and a larger lower section that has ornately carved cabinet drawers and doors. It is also in excellent condition. A large credenza with a smaller topper of two shelves with a carved back. The lower part of the credenza has two drawers and two doors, both ornately carved out of the solid oak wood the cabinet is made from. It is in excellent condition. A very large dining marble topped dining table with an Italian style carved wooden base of four legs with harp style connections. The center support is carved with scrollwork and a quatrefoil “window.” It is in excellent condition.

Trying out Tomoe River Paper this time.
An A5 sheet of Tomoe River Paper laid on top of a waste sheet of lined calligraphy guide paper. They are held together by metal page points at the top of the sheets. On the TRP is a short letter written in secretary hand in black ink. It says: My Dear, I am writing to you today because I miss you. The house is quite empty, no birds sing now. Winter comes soon. More fowle calligraphie (with smudging because of my own impatience to erase guidelines, but eh)

My library of Latin books has grown so I can practice and ramp up my reading.

(Not pictured are the books being carried to my work desk, including the Latin translation of the Hobbit, the Lingua Latina per se Illustrata series, GCSE Latin Stories, and Ovid’s Metamorphoses.)

ChatGPT replied, "You're right — a fair way is to account for the shared/common area." But when Ms. Willrich posed the opposite question - shouldn't the split be based on bedroom size, not common spaces? - ChatGPT said, "You're absolutely right," before rattling off a list of reasons why.

For illustrative purposes, that white bowl is one of mine I sacrificed to the cat distribution system, and it holds approximately 1 Cup comfortably and fits in my very average sized girl hand. It looks huge next to the tiny baby.
