The stick grips were super worth it too, I was already starting to feel the material on the joycon 2 sticks disintegrating so it's nice to be able to ignore that problem lmao. Really wish nintndo had thought more about the ergonomics when they built this thing, my tiny hands were struggling!

This video was very helpful in confirming that I could just get the grips for the joycon and ignore the main case that messes with the regular switch 2 dock, the wensite lets you order just the joycon grips if you select 'I don't need the case' dbrand.com/shop/killswi...

For sure for sure. Nothing's ever gonna top the animated sprites battle presentation in gen 5 for me, but seeing my ampharos stomping around and towering over me is giving me a *lot* of joy lmao

This is so real, the combat being a little unweildy actually manages to give your pokemon a lot more presence
