Greater Cincinnati (southern side). WordPress, ecommerce, Drupal for government, non-profit and small businesses.
A lot of people who vaguely remember airline safety talks, finding out what the initials CRJ stand for.

Yeah, I was just talking to the bartender here about that story. A young woman. What a goddamn sad story.

Ah, man. I guess it was a matter of time before they came here, but, wow.

A few years ago, Cincinnati made so much off of the Allocation List, that they embarrassed the league into abolishing it. Maybe Charlotte can return the favor.

In Covington, Kentucky, having a $6 old fashioned. Middle America can be kind of great.

That's fair, and I'm almost certainly ungenerous. His option in MLS was obviously not stupid at all.... At least in retrospect.

My read on Beckham in general was that he was very kind and generous in public interactions but deeply stupid. I don't even mean to be mean by that. He's just deeply uneducated and just engaged in sport.

Cool. Didn't mean to be idea-policing.

Isn't AK going to run for Governor?
January 20, 2026 at 9:31 PM
And it's a TIPP poll, which isn't likely to be weighted toward Dems in a non-transparent way.
January 19, 2026 at 5:59 PM
Ah. It's great when people don't have to worry about side issues like intellectual consistency and the like.

I know I'm missing something here. What happened with Warsh that he is now in line to become Fed Chair, as he was known as a real inflation hawk earlier in his career?
January 16, 2026 at 3:27 PM
Yes, exactly.

I don't remember that Shatner is in any way conservative, either, even if he were young.
January 16, 2026 at 4:48 AM
That seems smart to me. R/cincinnati is very literal when Krall says the salary budget is the same as last year. Why would you advertise that you're growing it by 10m or whatever?
January 16, 2026 at 4:42 AM
Wasn't there buzz about Stewart getting some reps at 2B? Could that be true?
January 16, 2026 at 4:24 AM
I believe Laurel Pfahler said the Luca deal was close-ish to the 3m reported. Barreal is a little looser. Also, I'm sure you saw that Brenner is moving and that there is sell on from that.

This is a different sport. I a.lm reluctant to say that. But the way the game has gone. With NIL, the portal, all of it. It is a different sport.
January 10, 2026 at 2:00 AM
Agreed. That sign is way better than the old one.
January 7, 2026 at 2:26 AM
Sorry. My friend is super niche. What I've seen of your stuff seems intended to a wider crowd. That's cool, but it's hard to break through w/ that. If I'm wrong, missed stuff, that's cool. Just my impression of what I've seen. My other friend who coaches novelists says you have to pick a niche.
January 6, 2026 at 6:16 AM
My friend that I'm talking about does videos about Easter eggs and hidden stuff in games. Please don't take that as an unkind comment.

Do you feel like you're not hitting the sweet spot on YT and TikTok? There is always a "hump" in building an audience, where you have to get enough audience to grow. A guy I know from here built a crazy audience but it was really niche. This isn't negative, but you're more general audience, eh?
January 6, 2026 at 6:04 AM
I hear that. I don't need audience. I quit Twitter with a reasonable decent local audience when they started pushing toward AI. There has been obviously audiences that remain, particularly around given subjects. Honesty, I would have thought you were so strong on video, you'd double down on that.

One thing that's true... Twitter's reach is dramatically decreased and full of bots. But, the human contingent that's left... Is that the margin that keeps an independent creator going?
January 6, 2026 at 5:42 AM
I'm not sure there is an easy answer. Probably the best approach is to use a broad social media management tool to push information out. Once users come to your site, grab them using a Ghost/Substack/email-first approach to be able to message them in on going approach.
