Apparently my reputation tends to precede me
Anecdotally, a UK/Irish dual citizen took a job in Denmark but couldn't get a visa for an Indian spouse until she said "Article 8 Claim" to a Danish civil servant. Then boom.

I keep seeing these geolocation screenshots on Xitter.

If they're legit, has anyone checked how many foreign bots are operating with UK-coded names?

Someone send in David Tennant, he could pull off a Doctor-style "chaos negotiation" IRL

Also - Not a silly question

Reasons for People Who Know Better to tag Grok would, if I had to guess, be
* They don't believe it, but they're trying to provide a source to the sort of credulous idiot who does
* They're trying to elicit a troll response (like the folks in the @404media.co article)

Anyone citing an LLM's answer to a complicated and/or open-ended question is immediately suspicious, IMO. It doesn't give you an answer, it gives you its best guess of what an answer to the question might look like.

Grok is simply wearing its biases on its sleeve because Elon doesn't do 'subtle'

Unless your name is Bubba, in which case Trump knows exactly how to bring you down when you're hard

As long as you stayed the hell away from some bits of Usenet, anyway.

I stand corrected - Turns out, Elon *did* have Grok reprogrammed to be his Emotional Support LLM, presumably in the aftermath of the narcissistic injury @joycecaroloates.bsky.social gave him

Like Elmo has that kind of dedication.

He's probably got someone to hard-code some fluffy pieces in.

If this ends with him getting his liver eaten by eagles for all eternity, I think it's a fair trade

I remain convinced she'd be an excellent guest at a Science-Fiction & Fantasy convention.

Intelligent, funny, sharp wit, and (by all accounts) a suitably filthy mind.

STP was very widely read, so he probably was aware

I've always said his greatest strength wasn't inventing new ideas, it was communicating existing ones - Take a complex concept, distill it down to its purest form, then smuggle it into his reader's brains via stories about witches/guards/orangutans

Moist, of course, spots the bullshit from a mile away, because it takes a scammer to spot a scammer.

The finale comes once 90% of the wizards have been replaced by the LLM, then a disaster occurs and Hex builds an army of insectoid automatons (Termite Naitors) to destroy it.

I'm imagining a Lexicon Learning Mechanism; The wizards are told it'll make magical research even easier, and so, lazy gits that they are, it's given free reign to copy every book in the Unseen University Library (over the Librarian's vociferous and violent objections) (2/3)
